Run: I did not run today, but yesterday I ran 3.19 mi on 8/29/2009 at 10:05 AM with a pace of 18′48″/mi http://bit.ly/11Nf8z
Can I just say I LOVE KENPO X!?! Tonight I am PUMPED! I brought it like I’ve never before. I feel great. (Although I know tomorrow morning I will NOT). Anyhow, this morning I woke up and Loren invited me to breakfast with her mom and Will. We went to Waffle House and I had a ham and cheese omelet. Nom nom nom. Then I came home to a wonderful storm. I contemplated taking a nap, but ended up playing the Sims 3.
That was wonderful. Much better than reading for classes (which I should have been doing). I’ll read after this post. Then at 8 I realized what day it was and got super excited. I mostly love Kenpo X because even though I don’t look super hot doing all the moves, I can complete the workout. This week I pushed myself to the limits, not taking a single break and working through all the “water breaks” including the X jumps. I was drenched 10 minutes in (that’s just the warm up). I could tell I’ve improved because my side and back kicks have much better form. I know I pushed myself because during the cool down while doing the forward bends and hamstring stretches, I leaned forward and sweat just poured from the top of my head. It was GLORIOUS. So now I’m sitting in front of my fan and it’s very nice and chilly. Tomorrow I get back to running, but its my Rest or X-Stretch. Last Monday I rested so tomorrow I’m going to try the XStretch. I’ve never done it before, should be interesting. Kdoke, I’ll conclude with my photos, yesterdays included, and then I need to read for school tomorrow.
